It's a 1960 Historic Reissue from the Custom Shop. It left the factory in early 2005 and the price is $1850. I was told it comes with Burst Buckers. Anybody have one or play one of these bad boys? I am not familiar with this series.

Very very nice.... Personally, I think the price is right. I'd grab it before someone else does. But that's my opinion....

If I could get that guitar for that price here in England I'd lap it up!

Do you like the slimmer necks? If that's a 60 I'm assuming it has one.

I've never played a slim-neck, except on a SG '61 Reissue. I would imagine that the slim neck makes it faster. Are there any tonal differences. I think someone told me that they don't have the sustain that the thick necks do.

To me, the tonal differences in slim taper and 59 profile are negligible. YMMV....

If that's an R0 and not one of the LP Classics, that's an insanely low price.

what I was thinking...however, it doesn't have the snotgreen inlays....

sounds way too cheap for a R0 unless it's one of those guitar center specials (but I thought those were just a version of the R8?)

I loooove that plain top... seems cheap for a R0... grab it!
