A buddy of mine's son wants to record onto his computer via 2 guitars, keys, drums, bass etc....He's looking at the SB Audigy 2ZS Platinum sound card, but I think an actual guitar recording software product is still needed right?

Texas Heat 12quot; 16 ohm Speaker NIB
Meant to buy a pair of 8ohm'ers, accidentally clicked 16ohm by mistake. Careful where you click that mouse! Already sold one, so I've got one left. This is a brand new speaker, never installed. $59 includes shipping to the lower 48.

Just Ordered A Brand New Guitar
You can see it here . I've wanted one for quite some time, and I had a great month at work.Did you get one of those Donnie Osmond distortion pedals to go with it? Gearjoneser is always raving about those.

Anybody have a gold Schaller Floyd Baseplate?
Preferably with a Jackson logo (or even better a Charvel one), but I don´t really care as long as it works.... please none with stripped holes, that´s exactly the problem I have now

Best bridge match with jazz neck, Your thoughts
What do you feel is the best match for the jazz neck. I currently have the JB in the bridge position, and it is way to shrill for my tastes. I will be changing it out this weekend so I will be able to enjoy my LP instead of dreading picking it up. I want a well balanced full sound in the bridge that handles distortion well and great pinch harmonics are a plus. I posted this thread earlier and mentioned I wanted a more vintage output but I wanted to open it up to all available options. Thanks to Lew, Theodie, and Luke Duke for your previous responses.

pickups for epiphone les paul custom lefty
It looks like I'm probably going to get an epiphone les paul custom lefty. Most people are telling me I probably won't like the stock pickups that much. By doing my research on the SD site, I've pretty much narrowed down my choice of pickups as some combination of a JB, Invader, Custom, or Custom Cumsom. I play hard rock. Everything from meat and potatoes power chord stuff to atmospheric, long sustain stuff. I need something versatile... any recommendations?

Hiwatt nuts, where are you?
Everyone's got their favorite, and I have mine. Old, British, and really LOUD. And pretty darn small, too. The name plate may not begin with an quot;Mquot;, but anyone who don't like this little monster just hasn't played through one.

Macintruff Taurus or 57 Goldtop Reissue
I'm checking out a couple of used guitars and I've got it down to these two - Both guitars have similar neck profiles (I love the vintage chunky necks), the taurus has a little more high end zing and the goldtop oozes sexy thick rock tones - what do I do, what do I do?????

Spinoff: How many guitars have you owned?
So, how many guitars have you owned over the years including the ones you own now. Last time I counted it was like 150 spanning almost 30 years. Mostly Gibson, Fender, and Gamp;L but I played Ibanez and Kramer pretty hard back in the 80's and had my share of those too. Lately I have been getting into Jackson/Charvel and ESP and most recently Dean. I also have had a couple of Agiles and come and go in the last couple of months - cool guitars for the price incidentally. Just searching for the mojo man
