man, I think you're just gonna have to buy a whole new bridge. is it the saddle intonation screws that are stripped? I didn't think that could happen

It can happen on older Schaller baseplates if you´re not careful, the newer ones with the brass insert don´t have the problem. These are the kind of things you can´t see on eBay

But I know for a fact I don´t have to buy a whole new bridge, I´d just prefer not to wait 4 months until my supplier has gold plated baseplates again. The axe is playable, its just the D that can´t be cinched down, as the front hole is stripped, so the Intonation is off on that string ...
