i ran into another problem with contradicting schematics. on both the seymour duncan and the one in my book that is a 3 pickup 2 tone, 1 volume schematic, the bridge pickup gets the 3rd position lug, the middle gets the 2nd one, and the meck gets the first. i have a superswitch schematic that says the middle pickup gets #1, neck gets #2, and bridge gets 3. that doesnt make sense! so which is right? is there a misprint on the superswitch schematic, or is it because its a different layout than standard and i should go by it?

It's a different layout than the normal switch. I'm a little confused by what you want, but I'll guess. If you want the neck selected in one end of the switch, the bridge at the other, and the middle in the... middle. In that case, choose a one lug bank on the super switch, the bridge pickups goes to lug 1, the middle to lug 3, and the neck to lug 5. The lug 0 runs hot to the volume. Thing is, positions 2 and 4 will do nothing. Nada. If you want to have a normal strat 3 pickup, 5 way switch setup, I can do you a diagram to match the super switch.

i want the standard strat layout.

Oh, and which pickups are you using?

This should do the job. I'm not entirely sure about those tone pots though. Best to check with ArtieToo if they do or not. It's rather late over here, and I'm probably missing an error. Something doesn't look right in the tone pots though.

It looks good to me.

Should work perfectly.
