Just scored a Wine red studio. Gold hardware, black rings and pickguard. Im trying to decide to keep the pickguard or not. Keep it looks classic, off has screw holes, but shows more color and wood. I figure with the slope of the arched top, I prob wont get alot of pickmarks.
Whatcha think?

How do I know which full sized Duncan humbuckers are F (Fender) spaced?

anyone know where i might find a tutorial for turning a stp/tom bridge setup into a floyd-rose trem ?

Right now I'm using Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings on my guitar, which is currently tuned in Drop D. I was thinking of tuning it down to Drop C but I should really try some thicker strings for that if I do. What string guages would you guys suggest for Drop C tuning?

My action is at a point where its butter to play. It's great. However, there is light buzz scanning the fretboard. Not too big of a deal when I'm plugged in, but still, I don't want that to affect my sustain.

My guitar is a squier fat strat with an agathis body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard, and i am just wondering should i be looking for more lows,mids,highs im trying to deside between the jb, custom, or distortion. The jb or distortion seems to have what i want but will they have a little to much high end for my guitar

Do you know of a Small soundhole PU? I have a Washburn Rover R-10 with an oval shaped soundhole that is 2quot; at its widest point. I've been looking at the SA-1 'Tube' and wondering about its dimensions. Do you know if it is adjustable? It would be nice if it would fit in my other 'standard' acoustic guitars as well.

I was at Guitar Center the other day and decided to try out Schecters new C1 Elite (with duncan designs w/ covers). After trying that out i was really suprised and I decided to also play Schecters C1 Blackjack to compare...well I wasn't very happy with the sound I was getting from the JB that is in the bridge. This may sound weird but i think I like the duncan designed better than the USA Pups. The covered designed ones sounded clearer and more percise.
