I bought ZW set yesterday and installing them myself in my Goth lp w/floyd and i have a couple questions.1. My pots in my LP are 500k and the ones that come with the ZW set are 25k should i install the 25k pots or do i have to?

I use Audacity for my recordings and have never made one with a backing track. How do I get them both on the same file?

I want a nice rockabillish clean (Smooth, warm, but not icepickey), but i want a nice bitting, gritty overdrive, and I want plenty of twang.

OK guys, i'm gassing for a firebird studio i'm loving the looks, but i'll be damned if i'm going to buy one sight unseen with all the stories about..

Has any one here played through a Boogie MkI Reissue I tried one a a local shop and it sounded great. Unfortunately i didn't have the time to really put it through it paces. I've developed a pinched nerve in my neck and has made my left hand slightly inoperable, temporary situation I hope, so it limited how much and how well I could play. Anyway feed back would be helpful I owned a cybertwin and ended selling that at a great loss I don't want to end up up doing that again. The Boogie was listed a $1300 I don't doubt the quality. I just would like thoughts on versatility. I know Amps can't be everything for everybody. But I enjoy a wide range of music, I have decided to learn blues and its variations I use my Blues Dlx. Jr' for that and would like some thing for Rock i.e. classics and newer stuff.

I'm really digging warwick basses nowadays. And instead of buying a new TV since mine broke I'm gonna take that money and buy a bass. I was thinking a Warwick Corvette. But I'm not sure if I want to get that one or maybe one of the models with a humbucker. Which would be better for slapping and popping? A humbucker or single coil?

Good morning. I own a Peavey Wolfgang with stock EVH pickups. When I adjusted the height of the individual pole pieces in the pick-up, I noticed that some potting wax was coming off around the screw heads. Does this mean I have now broken the potted seal and should be concerned? Can I re-seal them somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
