I recently went to Guitar Center and played the GT1200H amp head. I was blown away how good this amp sounded. The cleans are crystal clear and the 2 distortion channels flat out rocked. Great for blues and metal. The reverb sounds really good. Crate has the Flexwave Evolution 5 built in that makes it sound very similar to a tube amp. I've played many other heads twice the price that didn't come close to the tone of the Crate. The good thing about the GT1200H is it's only $299. I like it. I think I'm buying one soon.

A couple of weeks ago, I posted my complaint that the BurstBucker Pros on my new Les Paul Standard sounded very muddy to me. Many of you were incredulous, while others agreed. A couple of you asked that I report on any changes I made. I'm glad I went with my gut on this one...

could i put a bridge 59 humbucker in the neck position of a les paul copy
if so would it matter that the outside poles didnt line up with the strings

What i am thinking of doing is i have an old Saga kit strat that i pretty much never play, so im thinking of putting one of the Warmouth conversion necks on and i have a couple of question.

Hello, I just bought a used 97 strat plus and was wondering what you guys would put in to replace the lace sensors. Metal, Hard rock, rock and blues tones to be achieved ( or attempted ) with this axe. From what I heard in the sound samples section and the tone wizard advice, I would go for a Lil' screaming deamon bridge, a duckbucker middle and Lil'59 neck, all white of course. Good choice? Here are pics of the new baby.
