Ok I got the Signature Lick Hendrix book by Andy Aledort

I am sure I will be looked upon as a total newbie and these probably arent very popular BUT! I wanted to ask something.

There is mention of:

I have never heared of the SSL-1L

I want some new pickups for my Jimmy Vaughan Strat.
I have been told a lot of good things about the Duncans and thought I may as well go for it, and this book sounds great so I was wondering what these were.

I have looked at Fralins, duncan antiquities, van zandts and the such and like them but i hear so much good about these duncans i figured i may as well try em first...

soooo any idea on the SSL-1L ??

would i be better just getting fralin, antiquty or the such??

The SSL1s are great pickups....Vintage tone and A5 pole magnets....The quot;Lquot; designates Lefthand stagger poles...

If you want the absolute best in the tone you're looking for in a vintage strat single coil,try looking into the Antiquity II series Surfer pickups...
