Just curious, how difficult would it be to convert a trem guitar to a fixed bridge? I have fairly good woodworking skills and the tools to go with it. Having said that I have always worked on a larger scale, i.e. furniture and stuff. I assume you would have to measure each part of the cavity, ( the top side where the trem sits and the bottom where the springs are located) cut the pieces of wood to fit then glue them in.

Univalve owners? or those who know about them?
Hey guys, I was looking at Univalves and through Avatar I can order a Univalve and a 4x10 cab for $1054 (that's including shipping!) and am seriously thinking about saving up the cash for one, but I need to know how well a Univalve can push a 4x10 cab...I would go with 2x10, but Avatar doesn't offer one and I can't get the Univalve deal ($650 for a brand new univalve, including shipping!) without ordering an Avatar cab and I don't like 12quot; speakers....(even though, yes, my rectoverb is a 1x12, I prefer 10quot;)

Got a new Fender Strat!!
Got me a new Fender USA Highway 1 Stratocaster on friday! Its the honey blonde with a maple neck.... very nice and comfortable guitar to play. The satin finish really helps out on these guitars, as i notice that these guitars do seem to have a little more resonance than some other quot;gloss coatedquot; guitars like it. The pickups are nice also.... full and thick sounding, and very quot;strattyquot;. Overall a very nice guitar. And to top it off... it does have quot;original contour bodyquot; on the end of the headstock meaning that it's contoured like Strats of the early days. Very nice!!!

(Re)Introduction
What's up? I'm finally making it back full circle to the first internet forum I ever visited... way back in 1998. I posted then as Aaron S. helping out where I could... Let's see, who do I remember... Butch Snyder, for sure and Kellie the mod? I think Kellie got a promotion somewhere along the line...
