Is it possible to turn a solid state into a tube amp. I have a Presonus tube preamp in the fx loop, but would like to add more texture. The amp is a modified Marshall 250DFX. The modifications were done by a friend, but I'm not sure to what extent, other than replacing capicitors, using different guage wiring. He is in Europe for the moment and obviously has no use for emai. Anyways.... So, in theory, I would just want to add a power stage. How would I go about this, if possible? Would the modifications done hinder this project? Any websites that might help?

If you have a Washburn Dime
Im looking for someone who owns a Washburn Dime. A few months ago I found this guitar in the pawn shop. And it needed some refinshing, Ive been trying to get it ready to take it in to get painted. Its been quite a project but all be sure to post some pic's at a later date. What id like to know is im getting a decal for the headstock made by someone. Im looking for the measurements between the 2 bolts and from the bottom of the Dime symbol to the top of the bolt. So pretty much the length and height of the Decal.
I looked high and low for this decal but couldnt find one so i had to find someone to make this.

Exchanging reverb tank for bigger one ?
Hi all....I recently snagged a Fender Roc Pro 1000 head with the pedal from eBay for a really good price. The reverb tank is so weak, you can't even tell if it's at 0 or 10.
I also got a non-working Peavey VTX (hoping new tubes would fire it up, but it's got issues).

59n replacement?
I have a Schecter Blackjack 006 with JB/59 pups and although I really like the 59 it just doesn't have the magic of the JB (I know a lot of people hate it but I don't for some reason) so I have been pondering a neck replacement. I am thinking either PG, Jazz or phatcat. What do you think? I play mostly classic rock although I would like some versitility since I do a little bit of almost everything. What are your reccomendations?

The Cats R in the Strat
Hi All,
Got the Phat Cats installed in the Hardtail Fat Strat the the other day. They sound awesome! The fattest fullest tone from a single coil you can get. Beautiful clean tones and plenty of fat growl. I was surprised at the the amount of Strat like tone that stayed with it, but much punchier and with more edge. You can pull up fully on the treble, mids, or bass and they give it up in gobs. They really are PHAT!! I'm Lovin large!!!

Since this comes up from time to time, I though folks might like to have their own copy of this document.
