Hi all. After saving up my money for quite a bit I think I'm going to fork out some cash to upgrade my Epiphone Les Paul Standard's stock pickups but I just wanted to get some final advice on whether I'm making a good decision.

Well, the last thing in the world I needed was another guitar becasue I own 3 Jacksons alreay, but I came across a rare one and I couldn't pass it up. This online Jackson dealer, guitarxpress.com had 14 jackson dxmg's done up in a road hazzard yellow finish with matching headstock. they are really cool! So, after talking with the sales guy and finding out they only had 4 left, I gave into temptation and bought one. I already own a dxmg in gunmetal grey and I love the guitar. I've got a Seth Lover in the bridge position of a 1977 Gibson doubleneck (six side) and to me, it's just THE tone. However, I'd like to put one in the bridge position of a 72 LP deluxe (it's already routed and I didn't do it) but I'm afraid it will not sound the same. I'd swap the pickups to test it but the doubleneck's wiring is a rats nest and I don't want to go through that again! You could see how the quot;just use the doubleneckquot; theory will not work as that guitar is too heavy to use for hours on end. I'm big enough where the LP can hang all night and it won't bother me, but the DN is just too much.
