Hey guys, how do Mesa's Rectos compare in tone and style to the Mark series?

I bought the wrong pedal 2 weeks ago. I have since ordered the stereo volume pedal from Rogue that I need to use as a midi controller. This pedal for sale has never been used. Have original box, manual etc.

Hey guys, I'm going to be getting some money soon, and I've discovered some nice tones coming from my Randall combo's amp distortion, which is something I've never heard before. However I would like to buy either a noise gate or an EQ, just to clean up the sound and get some more tones that I'm even more happy with. What would you suggest buying first? The models I have in mind are the Rocktron Hush Super C and the MXR 6-band EQ.

Any California members going to this in a week? Luckily, I work 1 block away, so there's no excuse for me not to be there! It's $20 Admission.

There are a lot of thoughts about how different materials and brands of cable affect tone, but this has to be the most ridiculous cable ever. I don't want my guitar to sound that good. I think that paying even $100 for a 20 foot cable is ridiculous. I can't think of any way that this cable can be good enough or make enough of a difference to justify the price. Many of our best known and loved and emulated tones were probably made using whatever untility crappy cable they had laying around the studio. Stop the insanity!!!

I'm going to trade my Peavey 5150 for a Laney AOR amp pedal. Which one should I get? I want to nail that super-hot Yngwie Marshall Plexi tone. It should be well equipped to handle single-coils, as that's what I'll be using on it 90% of the time.
