Tools Needed to setup...
I'm going up from .10's to .11's and am going to have to set my intonation/string height again. I have a chromatic tuner, two allen wrenches that came w/ my standard strat, and a phillips head screwdriver.

TS808 and TS9 Comparison Clips
Nothing special here, but I wanted to try soundclick and it always seems to me that everyone wants to know what the sound difference is between a TS9 and TS808. Well I strummed a few chords through each and posted them on SC.

WANTED: Fender Mustang BASS pickup (mini-P-bass type, ya know...)
Anyone got one they'd like to get rid of? - I would use P-bass pickups, but they're just too big...

Various computer recording questions (Guitar Port users
Well guys, I figure it's time for me to start my own recording project, since I can't seem to find myself a band, I think I wanna try writing some experimental music and record it all myself. Vocals, Guitar, Bass, and I'm seriously looking into getting a (cheap) electric violin and a decent keyboard as well. I can not play drums and have no idea how to cover that, to be honest. I assume some recording programs have programmable drums.
I've tried direct recording before, and it sounds pretty bad on this pc...I don't have the proper sound card, I suppose. All I did was plug my guitar directly in, no effects at all. I'm really looking at the POD Guitar Port...how well does this work? It doesn't need to be of super high quality, but I need it to be at least pretty good, since I plan on putting this on the internet and whatnot. Does the Guitar Port record other intruments well? (bass, keyboard, violin, etc.)This is an area I honestly don't know anything about, and all help is appreciated.

Nut Width
Hey guys, well here's the story. I have my eyes on a Tom Anderson, it has a nut width of 1 11/16, Im used to played a GandL kneck that is 1 5/8. If I but the Anderson from the local shop, theyre giving me 100bucks free accessories, and some financing options, so that would be super ideal, however my question is, will my hands adapt to the 1 11/16's kneck? It feels comfortable in terms of thickness, but is just a hair to wide. Is that because im used to a thinner kneck and just need time to adapt to a slightly thicker kneck???
