Many of you may have the impression that I hate Warmoth, this is far from the truth.... But many of you often state quot;its cheaperquot;, without seemingly putting any real though into what is to be quot;copiedquot;... So I think it´s time for a comparison....

I'm sorry to bother you guys with yet another one of these questions, but I'm thinking about switching out my EMG's for some nice passive pickups. And I'd like to know what bridge pickup you guys would suggest for mostly metal, so that means low end crunch with that crunchy sizzling sound, screaming leads with great harmonics that will ring out for awhile, and clarity.. I can't stress that enough! Also I think it should be versatile enough that it can have decent cleans.

Something strange happened the other day at band-rehearsel:
I usually play a JCM DSL 50W with my Les Paul, it has a JB in the bridge.

I was going to try and put a lace sensor on top my custom 54 middle, and pearly gates at the bridge. I was told this cannot work due to varying magnetic field. Can someone explain this to me? Also Is there anyway to make it work?

In an experiment to help resolve some grounding issues with my guitars, I'm goinfg to replace the tremolo claws on both my Strats. There's practically a small gumball of solder on there and it occured to me this may be the source of my grounding problems i was talking about earlier...

I'm looking to buy an ATA case for my Deluxe reverb, especially after hearing about alot of problems that arise because of excess shock and handling over time. I just want it to stay the way it is, without any damage or harm done to the components from taking it to practices and gigs too often.

I'm a little bitter, since as time goes on i keep on finding more and more wrong with my flying V (albiet my les paul has never given me any trouble).
So what are your favorite alternatives to gibson in quot;gibson-stylequot; guitars? (les paul, SG, Explorer, V, or any variation on those models). I know my guitar teacher swears by hamer, how bout everyone else here?
