I have a super 2 in my neck which is mostly high treble, average mids, and low bass. I was wondering if you guys think the level thick/bassy tone of pickups in the neck are based on the output of the pickup or the eq of the pickup. I don't have much experience with pickups so I just wondering.

Lee Jackson LJ-412 oversized cabinet. Dimensions are 29quot; h x 14quot; deep x 30quot; w. Although ther are numerous tolex dings and two tears it is structurally intact and sounds HUGE grillcloth is intact with a couple snags, no tears and Lee Jackson logo is cracked at base..
Speakers are Made by Eminence for Lee Jackson. According to Eminence, they are a cross between a Blue Tickhound and Black Powder.

OK i am once again looking for help.. I am planing to be another VH fan that builds a copy of Ed's 5150 Kramer.... I plan to use Car paints for the finnish.... i'll be making my own homemade alder body.... how should i prepare the wood for car spray? I have sprayed Car paint spray cans on a popular body i made in the past and it flakes off.... I used auto spray Primer on the bare wood and then started the car paint..... i'm i missing a step?
