Not that I’m serious about buying one, but I’m just wondering what your guys’ reviews of the Stiletto Deuce are like. I’m intrigued mostly about how the 5U4 rectos mesh with the EL34 power section. Does have a Marshall-esque flavor with the low sag of a typical 5U4 recto? I’m thinking that might be cool… sort of a “Modern Vintage.”

How would it sound in the neck of my SG? There's sh-13 in the bridge for the record...

any suggestions about which single coil size SD will sound similar to a p90 (neck and mid only) Im interested in both standard and hum canceling models and am looking from the standard duncan line stocked at most places.

I've just recieved an order from stew mac and I'm not that impressed with the pots I've recieved. They're 500k for a epi SG and I know they'll do the job but it looks like they are the same quality as the stuff in the guitar. The brand is Alpha.
I recall hearing that CTS pots are no longer made in the USA. Does anyone know if this is true?

... but no, it appears the Fender Custom Shop is making an Ike Turner Tribute Strat.

What do you guys think of this head? I know nothing about it.
