I need some help on choosing my new amp.
I 'm looking to buy a tube amp.... I 've narrowed my choice down to two amps: peavey triple xxx or a marshall jcm2000 (dsl or tsl?)...

I wonder what amp or pedal ISIS use in the heavy parts of their songs. Anyone who knows?

i have been reading the threads on amp building and pedal building. it has sort of sparked my interests. can any of you recomend a good instruction book that would not be too complex for someone who has no idea where to begin. thanks

Can anyone point me into the direction of how to build a valve/tube amp?? A decent schmatic/how to?? I have had experince with electronics, welding,a nd soildering before, but a good friend of mine, is an engineer, who fixed helicopters for aliving, and will help me out if i get stuck. I just need schimatics/instructions!!

Head is in good condition, a few knicks here and there. Sounds fantastic, but a bit too much power for my needs.

Where's a good place to buy nickel or silver pick up covers? I want to replace the neck pup in my guitar with an AII pro, but don't really want to special order and AII pro with a nickel cover. Will it fit exactly, and is there anything special I'd have to do to put it on? (I'd assume a little solder to make sure it stays on P)
