I`m working on grounding my hot rails n dist trembucker, There`s alot of noise when I`ve got distortion on, most of it goes away when I touch the jack, pickups etc. I`ve put a ground wire from the volume pot (where i have most of my grounds) to the bridge, what more can I do? and what do I need

i checked the search but couldnt quite find it..does anyone know the scale length to an ibanez RG style guitar or any links to this style guitar in general ? ( i find it kind of lame that its not on the ibanez site, or maybe it is and i over looked it ) its a 1994 ( i think ) if that helps well thanks in advance

i need to replace a stock mim humbucker with a badass humbucker to match my new legacy pickups im going to throw into the badass....i am looking for something like a 59 pickup or pearly gates

I installed it and realize I don't like high output pickups. I waited too long to install it and it is past the 21 day exchange period. I seriously have only played it for about 20 minutes. I am sure its a nice pickup, just not for me. I would rather get a paf type pickup (4cond). Would anyone like to trade? Especially if you have an abundance of paf's lying around you may not have used. I would consider either bridge or neck varieties. (A2p,Seth, 59, etc..) Thanks

the thread about the 2x12 16 ohm cabinet got me wondering about exactly what's going when two cabinets are plugged into the same head.

Has anyone found a place were you can buy Machineist taps for the standard Humbucker screw? I have come across a few times that i could of done with a tap.... Most of the time i use a drill for a small hole in the metal and then force a spare humbucker screw into it so it taps the threads on it but i was wondering about getting the right tool for the job.....

I was thinking that they were, but everywhere I check, the old pictures are still up? The new Hot Rails pickup has an oval base instead of the old triangular one, right?
