Thanks to the Guitar Player mag that I saw on the news stand, I discovered that my Olympic white JV strat looks just like Hendrix's '68, woodstock strat.

I'm thinking of replacing the bridge and tuners on my standard strat. I was wondering what the best tremolo style bridge is for tuning stability? I have the 6 screw kind if that matters.

I've got a Les Paul Classic '01 mod. I want to change the bridge pickup as I think it is too bright for my taste. (I actually like the neck pickup!).

Do you really not need string trees if you are using the tuners with graduated posts?

I also have a SSL-5 rewound by Electrokrart to their Blues Neck spec. The PuP sounds good and meters at 7.49 But has weird phase issue with other PuPs?? $25 Shipped

as i search for the right guitar i keep looking at the washburn x81 face eraser...obviously since it's real new no one has played it yet (that i know of) but what is washburn quality like on there top of the line US made guitars? i've never owned a washburn nor have i played one but this guitar keeps jumping out at me for some reason...and it's getting harder to find the right guitar lol...

Since the Seth is not wax potted, removing the cover should simply be a matter of unsoldering, right? Once the solder is off the cover/pickup base, the cover should just lift right off with practically no effort at all. Am I correct in my line of thinking?

okay ive been looking at this guitar for a long time, schecter c-1 plus. any comments on it? also i think im going to get DD/59 in them. just want to know what you think
