Tele Pickup
Has anyone replaced a stock tele bridge pickup with a single coil for strat?
Although they mount differently I'm sure someone has, I want to put in a JB Jr. - I don't want the hot rail for tele, I have the lipstick pickup in the neck and love it.

What brands do you have full fidelity too?
Is it some brands you trust without looking up and reading reviews, hear if someone have try it etc? I will always use Schaller straplocks and Levy's straps. Ernie Ball strings is something i have started to use recently and i can't see why going back to anything else.

Don't Need An Amp For Jazz Band Anymore
So, played my Behringer today at jazz band practice and it's definately going to do the job. I was running into the low input, pre volume around 4, master around 6. Sounded great!!! Very clean, chunky, percussive, jazz sound. Hopefully, I'll have something new by the weekend, I'm dieing using a 10 watt Wal-Mart amp.

Hey Fretfire! (and other rectoverb users)
Hey chief, have you tried EL-34's in your rectoverb yet? I'm probably going to be ordering new tubes for my amp next week, and was wondering if you'd tried any EL-34's and what kind of character they give the amp that the 6L6's don't...I think I'll probably go with the 6L6's for the bass response, but before I made up my mind wanted some advice from someone with practical experience

D'Addario EXL v.s. Ernie Ball Slinkys
Ok I normally use the D'Addario EXL 110s (the nickelwound 10-46 set)... but I want to try out something new somehow... how are the nickelwound Slinkys compared to them?
