Just thought I'd complain about how long I have to wait to get my Godin. I talked directly to the guy who imports them into the queensland (australia) the other day and he said at least 6 weeks, well its been about 2 weeks and he said its probably gonna be after christmas! I think its pretty unreasonable to wait for a guitar for 6 weeks.

I'm getting some crackling-type sounds out of my amp when I turn the volume up and down quickly. I'm assuming I need a new tube. What do you guys recommend? (BTW, I put a Vintage 30 in this thing because I'm determined to make it sound good...must...not...give...up...)

I did some trouble-shooting on my brother-in-law's Yamaha Strat clone the other day; it was working only sometimes. What I found was a couple of poor solder joints; easy fix.
The only problem i hear now is a noticable quot;humquot; when the volume knob is turned down. Not super-loud, but there. Full on; no problem. All the way down; no problem; just anywhere in-between.

Hi, everyone. I just went to look at a YCV50Blue, and I had some questions regarding it.

Is it true?? because I tried a Custom (trembucker) in my 500k volume amp; tone pots in my squire showmaster, and it ROCKS!!! while my JB (SH-4), which is in my fender fat strat 250k vol pot, sounds a bit thin to me,, it do sounds great but not as thick as Custom...
Does the size of the vol pot affect the sound??

I play mostly blues, rock, and metal...

Alright, I've decided to slowly peice together what I feel will be the ultimate in versatile tele tone! I'm going to take my stock mexican tele and start upgrading...gonna put on an american bridge and a lil 59 in the bridge...
then I'm going to add a strat middle pickup (for which Iquot;ll have to get a new pickguard and do some routing)..then I want to wire it up for 11 possible different tone combinations:

I was wondering if someone could tab out the song Madness by the Transplants for me? It would be very helpful if someone could tab out out the whole thing for me. Thank you if you can do this for me.
