Amp or speaker model aside, I like to know what others think about a choice of speaker sizes in a combo amp. (i.e. Peavey classic 4x10 or 2 x12, or Fender Blues DeVille or Traynor YCV80). I'm talking about blues or blues-rock played on a semi-hollow or solid body with humbuckers or even P-90s . What would be the difference sound between an amp with 4x!0s and one with 2x12s.

Lower output pickups equate to a bigger tone?
Is this a mythe or as I feel it really depends on everything in the equation such as guitar, amp, etc. I have heard it mentioned a lot that lower output pickup yeild a bigger tone due to the less compression factor compared to a hotter pickup like a JB or Custom. To me it doesn't seem that audible other than hotter pickups are hotter...period. Thoughts?

ive just been confused
what is the dufference between output and dc resistance? ive always thought they were interchangeble. and what does a Henry measure? also, do any of those have anything to do with loudness? because some pickups are low output or dc resistance, but people say they are loud (and i dont think they mean in terms of noise or hum). how do i figure out which pickups are good matches?

Keeping your guitar in tune, taking it out
I noticed when I take my guitar out of my case the tuning is off the flat side by like 10% most of time. Should I be cracking the case and let my guitar warm up to the current room temp, even though the case sits in my room all the time? I know guitars strings warm up after playing a bit so that affects tuning too. Maybe I didn't do enough stretching when I put on the strings, should I try it again enough I changed about two weeks ago? When I changed the strings I put 3 in 1 oil on all the string contact points, so I think that would be okay with no string snags. Could it be the fact that on all the strings I only got 1-3 full turns around the tuning pegs, covering over the part I cut off? What do you think the problem is or what should I be doing?
