quot;Oddityquot; might not be the best word, but I just got my VR bridge from Matt, and noticed something that I hadn't considered before. The design of the VR sort of quot;compensatesquot; for the Strat's bridge angle. The pole pieces end up in a, more or less, straight line. It'll probably be a week or so before I get mine installed, but has anyone else who uses a VR, or Duck, in the bridge, noticed a tone improvement over other designs?

Does anybody have a real early (90-94) MiM Tele or Strat that has a really quot;agedquot; type of tone? What i mean by that is, do the pickups in these guitars age and get the quot;weaker magnetic fieldquot; that makes 50's and 60's Fenders have such a sweet tone? I think another 15-20 years would make my MiM Tele sound real sweet, if indeed, time has a positive effect on these MiM guitars in the same way it has on the very first Fenders. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

hey guys, i just bought another DD last night and tried it without the tone pot on my black beauty LP and man this is the S**T!
It is a lot like a JB but like it took steroids or something!

would these guitars need bridge trembuckers?

The local shop has a brand new 2005 Les Paul Deluxe in.... They say Gibsons rep has told them they are reissueing them again but only in Black.....

TODAY, i asked a friend to install the folowing combo in my Ibanez RG 450 LTD Japan.

Hey guys and gals. I have moved into a forseaken area that has crappy musical support. ALL ASPECTS of support. I need to replace the nut on my strat, but dont trust anyone around here to intstall the LSR ROllernut. I have been off the forum for awhile tending to personal matters, but things are starting to look up again. Time to get rolling. Who are the reptable members able and willing to PROPERLY install the nut?
