Are the sizes of an attenuator supposed to match or be larger than the wattage of your amp? For instance ,can I use a 25 mini mass with my 55 watt amp or do I need to go larger?I wasnt sure if the wattage rating had something to do with how much the attenuator can take from your amp or if its the other way around.

I know how the Lil 59 sounds as a bucker .. but not spilt.

It's all becoming clearer about Gibson's plan. Gibson may be the first guitar company to go past the point of being 'just a guitar', to the point of being a commodity that's sold as a high ticket item, through their own stores. Carvin is similar, but won't have the impact of Gibson's brand name. In Los Angeles, I'm starting to see regular commercials on TV for Gibson guitars, and I'm wondering if they're setting the stage for starting Gibson Franchises.....in other words, retail stores in key areas that sell nothing but Gibson merchandise!

Im thinking about getting a 1979 Marshall JMP master model head but I read somewhere that they had the same circuits as the early JCM800s which I dont want. Does anyone know if thats true and if it is what years have the same circuits as the JCM800s? Thanks.

I have started to mod my jazzmaster...time for new pup. any suggestions?..i`m thinking lowend humbuckers..my guitar is daphne blue and it would be sooo cool to have a really fat metalisch dirtortion sound from the bridge...and a bright clean from the neck..What do you think? Any one tried something like this?
