I dig my Zvex Fuzz Factory, but was thinking of adding another pedal to the collection. Anyone have any recommendations?

im going to buy myself a new schecter ultra III ( from : localhost/for some nice pics haha) which come with 3 mini humbuckers. what would you recommend i replace each of my pickups with if im into the whole quot;jam bandquot; thing (like Trey Anastasio or moe.)? thanks for the help!

So I'm not sure what to put in my Schecter tempest special. It has duncan designed stacked P-90's which are kind of mediocre. I prefer to go with true P-90 tone. I was originally going to put in a Rio Grande Jazzbar in the neck and Bluesbar in the bridge. I started looking at the SD hot, vintage, and custom soapbar too. How do all these compare, what do you guys suggest? I'm looking for a hot P-90 tone for the bridge and vintage for the neck. Rio Grande makes amazing single coils so I figured I'd give them a shot.

I have a guitar made out of basswood. It has a 24quot; rosewood/maple neck and a vintage tremelo. I'm looking to get new humbuckers for it, but am unsure as to what I should get. For the bridge, I want something that can do distortion pretty well, but also do nice cleans. For the neck, I'm looking for something with rockin' distortion. If it has a nice clean, that's great, but if not, no big deal. I know basswood is supposed to be a bit bassier in sound compared to alder, so I dont' know if that means I should look into pickups that concentrate on the mid and high frequencies. Any words of advice form you guys would be greatly appretiated.

I have a schecter A-1 that I'm refinishing/ rewiring for a school project, i sanded through the coat that some idiot sprayed over the stock coat, throught the stock coat, and now theres this clear, smooth sanding coat of stuff which is really hard to get through, what is it, can I sand through it, and where do i get good aerosol primer (been all over reranch.com looking for the answer, no such luck, for either question)

Hey guys I really need some help right away, I just wired up brand spankin invader 7 string model into the bridge slot of my esp H-207. Anyways I get finished slap some strings on there and voila, it sounds like a single coil in a notched wah position. I then proceed to check every connection, and they are all perfect. Finally I look over the instructions one last time low and behold in the install directions, which I neglected to read, it said DO NOT use a SOLDERING GUN, it will de-magnetize the pickup. Evidently lying on the desk beside me is a hot SOLDERING GUN!!!!! words can't really do enough to express how angry I am right now.
