Hi, irecently i was made a new purchase. A JB for the Bridge a SH-2 Jazz Model for the Neck but... I don't know what is my best choice for the middle pick-up my guitar is H/S/H body of Alder overlay with quilted maple and mastil of Maple with Rosewood finger board...
I need a middle pickup for the quot;Clean Soundsquot; i was thinking first in a quot;Blue Velvet Dimarzioquot; But i'm afraid that it would make a bad sound with 2 s... What do you think? What middle Pick-up do you recommend?

i need a little help with understanding pot values and what their effect is on the tone of single coil pickups, i know that the common pot for single coils is 250k but what does 500k or 1meg do to the tone?

Anyone have this combo? I have a Les Paulette. Actually, it's a Greg Bennett Samick that's his version of a Les Laul. He calls it the Avion. The pickups aren't the Duncan Designs either. They're really bad. That's okay, I decided to put in a set of zebra Duncans. I been thinking really hard about the Custom/59n combo. I have owned both these pickups before but not concurrently. Usually, I am an Alnico 2 guy; but in a Les Paul-type guitar, I tend to like Alnico5 better. And I love the Custom period...
