Just kidding, of course ...
But Rid's proliferation of jams recently has motivated me to get off my lazy butt, sit down with my BOSS DR-3 and come up with a new Jam.

This one is titled Electronic Jam No. 1.
All of the guitars are my ESP M1 Tiger, because it was on the stand in in tune. Screamin' Demon pickup, guitar going right into my Roland VG-88. All tracks were recorded into a Yamaha AW16G, and mixed in Sonar. Key of Em.

Musically, the backing track reminded me so much of the TV show from the 80's, The Equalizer ... man, I loved that show. The theme song was written by Stewart Copland. When I heard this backing, I could picture big, 80's, chorused power chords ... and here you go.

As usual for my jams, this was tracked in one hour, and every track is one take, so there are occasional mistakes ... plus, the solo is 100% improvised, so it's whatever came to mind at the moment I pressed 'Record'.

ENJOY!!

I like that little chordsy thing you did at :33 and 1:18. I like the way it fit in. So where'd you find a backing track like that?

It's actually one of the presets from my drum machine. Most of my jams are result from me just going thru the preset rhythms, and when I find something that strikes me, I play with the loops until it resembles a basic backing track. I record the loops in real time, manually switching, and then I start playing guitar over it.

Oh, that high double stop part is just an Em line, 12th fret, while holding the B down on the 12th fret. There's a bit of a stretch involved ...

Ah man you are dead on a tv-theme from back then
Cool jam TWO.
