I know that you have to split the humbucker in the 4th position to make it hum-canceling. What I DON'T know is if the middle single has to be RW/RP. So, does it, or no?

I have a 2000 American Deluxe Stat with Fender Noiseless Pickups. I am planning to replace the complete pickup / pickguard / pots / switch assembly. I think the combination I desire is: Bridge - Hot Rail Bridge, Middle - Cool Rail ??, Neck - Cool Rail Neck

I was just wonderin, anyone try out the gibson dirty fingers humbucker. Ive heard alot of people mention that its good for punk, but hows it sound for raw metal?

Does anyone know of a speaker that's comparable to the Vintage 30 in tone (to some degree) but mainly in efficiency? And North American made. I have an amp that needs more headroom and the speaker in it now is the problem I believe. A very efficient speaker would help but I would like to get something besides Celestion. Thanks. - Rob

Can you hook a head up to combo and just use the speaker(s) in the combo?
