I'm planning on finally selling my Parker Nitefly. I never play it, it doesn't suit my tastes anymore, and it's very temperamental. I ought to be getting around $400-500 for it which is enough to get a new piece of gear.

Fender Single Coils vs. Duncan Single Coils
This may not be news to anyone here, but I believe I've discovered that Fender's single coil pickups can have different magnet orientations within their own line of pickups, depending on the model.

Just found an old Invader in the car...
I was cleaning out the car today and found an old 2 conductor Invader my friend and I pulled out of a guitar years ago. I know the other pickup in the set was taken apart and was basically destroyed but this one might just work. Is there any way to check without popping it into a body?

Noiseless P-90's.. sound difference?
Anyone have experience with stacked or otherwise noiseless P-90's? I'm considering ordering a set, but I'm also afraid that some of the P-90 mojo won't be there. (Loss of highs, etc). By the same token, the Custom P-90 in my strat can get downright noisy at times, so you can understand my predicament.

Ideal fret preparation?
Ok, I finally dropped big $$ and had my first professional set up. This is a local luthier that makes accoustic and violins. He said my guitar had some neck warpage that he adjusted out. (LP I bought used) He leveled the frets and left them flat on top. Said this way wears slower cuz if you peak them, the peaks will wear. Makes sense, but flat top frets are a different concept than I ever thought.. Is this whacked?? Sadly, the action was too low and buzzed and the pup was too high and was muddy. He said if I wanted readjusted he would do it, but I dont have time to go back to him. So, I adjusted the action up and bridge pup.. Neck seems perfect on every note now tho. What is your take on the frets???

FS 1988 Husqvarna 430XC Dirt Bike. BBBBBRRRRRAPPPP!
Hey all! I have an '88 Husky in nice shape. I rebuilt the top end and have about 1 hour on it. It needs to be jetted yet but runs great. This bike is fast and powerfull. It was the last year they were made in Sweden. I live in NJ so this is for the local Bros. I'm going to list it elsewhere for $1,000 but I'll let it go for $900 to an SD friend. Drop me a line and we'll talk.
