Positions 2 and 4 sound VERY weak!!!
I just installed a Steve's Special and Air Norton. I thought I had it right because when I tap the pole pieces I get EQUALLY STRONG sounds on the coils that should be sounding depending on the position of the switch. However...

Question about Single Conductor (coaxial) wire
I just got my SM-1n, and it comes with the vintage-style center=hot braid=ground wire. I have never experienced this type of wire before, and I just wanted to know what the accepted technique for hooking it up is. Do I solder a spare piece of wire to the braid and ground that, or do I separate the braid from the rest of the wire and solder it directly to ground?

Traynor 50 Blue now has an extension cabinet
Traynor's ycw50 blue now has an extension cabinet 1x12. You can check out their website at yorkville.com. I was wondering why they didn't just make a combo blue 50 with 2x12 but anyway check it out. No idea on the price.

Laney VR100H problem
One of my boys has a Laney VR100H and he says it recently started changing tone with slight volume change as well, intermittantly. Says the tone will muddy up for no apparent reason. Is this symptomatic of anything in particular - needs new tubes or? What direction should we be looking here. Thanks!

Fox 13 Memphis gig
I'll be playing some slide amp; stuff on Fox 13 Memphis this Friday between 7am and 9am. I'll be backing Martin Anderson along with the band. Its a plum of a gig, with a viewing audience of about 2 million or so. Lots of visibility. I'll be spankin' the plank with the Tele and the Bogner. If you're in the area, check it out! We are bringing some digital camcorders plus a laptop loaded with protools, so maybe I can get a good pro quality audio/video for you to check out soon.

Epi LP classic reborn
Hey guys, I got my Epi back from the luthier on tuesday with brand new pickups and electronics. This axe rocks now, even better than my Gibby, dare I say... a lot better.
Oh Yeah, you read it right.
