does anyone know what amp(s) the lead singer for franz ferdinand (alex kopranos i think) uses?

I want an amp that's good for tones from Cold Play, David Gray, to Weezer and Pink Floyd, to Allman Brothers whippin post.

I've got a new guitar on the way with Seth Lovers on the way in both positions. It occurred to me that they may feedback like there's no tomorrow thru the Soldano. Any forum feedback on the feedback issue?

Hi all. I need some pickups for a 5-string bass, and I'm after a very clean, deep almost hi-fi sound. No fat (muddy?) midrange or over emphasized highs, just clear, deep bass with a strong fundamental. The bass will be used a lot for direct recording. I'm thinking active soapbars like the Duncans or Bartolinis. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Here is something I just churned out. It isn't as smooth as I would like it to be, but I think there are some nice passages in it. I used the neck ( SSL-1) pickup on my Warmoth Strat, using a semi-dirty tone with reverb and delay.

So I'm debating whether or not I should get a 2x12 extension cab or a wah. I'm leaning toward the wah right now, and I was wondering what you guys would suggest? I want it to be able to fit in with metal wah sounds and be smooth, not harsh... it should also be able to do classic rock... basically everything moving upwards from there. But the main thing is a metal tone!
