Duh!

It's for a Standard MIM Strat. I noticed my G String had gone all 'sitar' on me so I was gonna alter the bridge a little, only to find that I had lost the allen key that fits the 2 screws on either side of the string on each saddle.

Is it a Fender-exclusive type of key? Or can I get the right size of key from pretty much anywhere?

well the allen key I got with my wilkinson vintage strat bridge works on all my strats (vintage style or new style floating trems)

actually those allen keys can be purchased from those D.I.Y shops if i'm not wrong ... my Pacifica have compatible allen keys

They are not hard to find. Any store with a decent tool department should have what you need. ( Sears, Wal - Mart, Home Depot etc. )

I buy all my allen keys for my guitars from hardware shops..... NOTE- Most allen keys needed for guitars are Metric.....

Check out any guitar store by your place. Ask them if they have any allen keys for strats. I did that and they just gave me one for free.

Ya that is a good tip... my local store has ton's of guitars unboxed every week and they most of the time throw the allen key sets away that come with the guitars... They can not be bothered to hang onto them as they have so many customers who never use them anyways..

I never thought of that. I managed to get a few jack nuts free just be asking.

yea you can probably get one at any music store. I work at one. We have a box full of hundreds from guitars since most people will screw up their setup if we give them a truss rod and bridge allen wrench. We do keep them for mis to higherlevel guitars, but beginner guitars just tend to get screwed up.

Forget the allen key, buy a Esteban guitar, those come with a free alien key, I bet you can tighten or untighten anything with those in the whole universe.

Any hardware store will have one that fits and some music stores might. I'd buy a decent set if I were you with metric and imperial, you never know if it will come in handy for various projects or around the house.
