Should I???
I would try a few of the guitars he has buildt before I'd buy. There are lots of quot;luthiersquot; out there building guitars that just dont play or sound good.
The price however, is not unreasonable considering you live in Denmark.

Where are you hiding, guitar experts? Help a newbie out
If it is a builder in the US, trow out a name. Maybo someone here has knowledge of this guy.
It really aint that easy to tell if this is a good deal just by reading your list.

That was surely some strange designs. Not my cup of tea for sure.
From the description of the JS-18: quot; This guitar will blow any guitar away it's ear piercing sound.quot; Ear piercing is... good?
I wouldn't purchase one without playing it first.
Well, nevermind it then, I wasn't asking for design opinions.

It's alright, I'll let the mod delete this topic, because I know it was a stupid question.

No, you should not delete the thread. Maybe someone can help you out later.
Have patience, my friend.
Well, I'm not sure I really need help, I just asked to be sure. Because I have video clips and everything with a guy playing one of the guitars, and it sounds great, and I don't think I would be able to get any other guitar in that good quality for the same kind of money, and I don't want some factory made japanese guitar or whatever.

Unfortunately, the guitar luthier you're looking at is unknown. You'd be spending $1100 on a guitar that might not measure up to your expectations. The guitars that I saw on the website look more like your standard, budget metal axes than something really special. This may work for you just fine, but I'm not seeing anything that shows off the luthiers craftsmanship there (besides the odd designs). The quilt one made for Martin Christian offers a pretty poor top and if that was designed for someone the luthier obviously loves (due to the various plugs throughout the website), then I'm not sure what he would design for the average customer.
Well, I'm glad that you're giving your input, but I don't think it looks bad. We all have different taste I guess but I appreciate your critic.
