Hey I've got some really crappy pups that I am going to use the base plate and bobbins from to make a new pup.
Is there anyway to remove the Slug poles from the bobbins?
Yes. Very Carefully. J/K. Try pushing very carefully from the bottom up.
Best way to remove them is taking a screw pole piece and pressing the slug out through the top. You might need a hard metal object to use to push it through or tap it gently with a hammer or something hard.
I've rebuilt a couple of pups, and the slugs slide out fairly easily. Like Benjy said, just push them out from the bottom.
