Hey guys me again. Well since I'm not going SS anymore *whew* I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the JSX head? I've played the Peavey XXX head with my current guitar and absolutely loved the tone from it, I've heard that the JSX is like an upgraded version of the XXX does anyone know for sure? It's going to be a few months before I have the money to get the head and about 2 months before I can even go and try the JSX out(I live in Columbus where the music stores suck so I have to drive to Atlanta). Any info. on the JSX would be much appreciated. Thanks again.

I've played both, and gotta say i like the JSX more. its got a killer crunch channel, the cleans are pretty decent too. Lead channel is a little difficult to tune the high-end out of, but its still a killer amp.

If i didn't have my krank, i'd have one of those.

ive never played a JSX before, but i love my XXX. if you go XXX, i highly reccomend putting some JJ EL34's in it

If you don't care about a clean channel, the 5150 owns both.

If you want cleans or a bit more versatility, get the JSX.
