well i finished the rebuild on my pewter strat. a new pickguard and pickups a graphite nut and chrome fender/schaller locking tuners made the project complete finally. it seems to have a touch of class to it now with the chrome covered pickups. in the bridge is a breed with a solid chrome cover i put on and potted...in the neck is a lace chrome dome (not a tele pickup) and again a great guard from warmoth!! this guitar just plain out ROCKS it's quickly becoming a favorite of mine...

i'd also like to thank ArtieToo for his help with a custom wiring diagram for it...it's wired volume, volume 3 way...

looks good!

wow....that looks great! where did you get that sweet pewter body and the solid cover? does the breed have adjustable poles? if so, how did you set the poles before you put the cover on?

ditto on the cover that looks bad ass how did u do that with the breed, i've always wanted to that but i have never seen it

that hum cover really adds something to the look... i like it

It looks nice! What does the Chrome Dome sound like?

Very nice,I like the sleek simplicity of it.Great job.

This guitar is 100% ninja approved.

Schaaaaweeeeeeet!!!!

I like the two-tone bridge, very smart.

You should make a page with all the pics of your guitars.

It's also lemur approved.

Mike, you set the bar too high with this one, man. You'll have to quit buying guitars, because you'll never get one or build one that looks better than that. I want to see that thing in person.

Killer bro, nice work.

Mike, that is very nice!!!! Damn you have some good taste!!! I need to get some of those pickup covers without holes!!!I am once again jealous!!

Thank you. You just decided of what my next guitar is going to be (for today at least)

Get a strat and mod it, it's the law.
This indeed looks classy

Very nice Mike, I love the touches of black on the nut, and bridge.

It's the little things that make a modded strat great.

Nice, I like the colour, the pickup covers are cool too, different.

Thanks guys!!

itbe: as for the covers, i got them from allparts and to put them on i just lowered the poles on the pickup to where they are flush with the bobbins (like a slug coil would be) stuck them on the pickup, soldered them and then wax potted them.

the body i got of eBay in mint condition (real fender)

and yes the breed has adjustable allen head poles on both bobbins.

JacksonMIA: yeah, this one may be hard to top, but i'm gonna keep trying lol. i have another strat build i'm planning but it wont be as classy as this one, it's going to be b/t this and the yellowcaster i guess you can say. i have a bunch of strat parts sitting around now so i figure why not build another one and use them hahaha.

darkshadow: i should do that, i also should take a quot;family photquot; of them all.

Odie: do it, do it!!

Pierre: see response for Odie above hahaha

thanks again everyone!
