Any concerns with this? I want to put a Seth in the neck of a Tele that has a stack single coil in the bridge, but I don't want it to sound like mud. Anyone know what the Seth sound like with 250k?

SRV Tone
It's not really a big deal, but on the Austin City Limits DVD when SRV played Texas Flood he was playing the intro on the DGB strings at around the 6-8 frets and sounds just as bright as when I play the same intro on the unwound GBE strings on the 3-5 frets. It made me start questioning my pickups. Again. ARG!.

Please help me change my pickup!!!
I am trying to replace my bridge DiMarzio with a SD Custom Custom. I have one volume, a 3-way, and a tone knob/coil split. The current DiMarzio only has black, white and bare. the black and the bare are soldered to kind of on top of the coil split and the white is soldered to one of the tabs down below it. After I take this dimarzio out, where do I solder the black, white, red, green, and bare of my new SD??? PLEASE HELP! I love pics btw. this is the diagram i found but im still lost

Want to buy/trade for Phat Cats
I have a '59b here in mint condition that I'll trade. I love the '59, but I just tried a set of phat cat's in a friend's SG and they were much closer to what I'm after. I'll also sell the '59 outright. It's black, regular spaced, lots of lead, great shape, 4 conductor. Thanks!

a good crunching, thick, soaring lead tone
I've been playing for number of years, but I still can't get a good, thick, soaring lead tone. I play through a Marshall Mode 4 and use the amp's solo volume but it still doesn't cut through.
