Hey everyone.

I was wondering if any of y'all have had any experience with a piezo loaded Tune-O-Matic. I'm planning on turning my Alleykat into a hybrid guitar, so that I can cover both acoustic and electric sounds. Since it is a hollowbody, I think it will sound pretty good.

The only issues I have are that I only know of one TOM bridge loaded with piezo's. The LR Baggs unit looks like a good bet, and the onboard cicuit looks promising, but I was wondering if there was anything else out there.

the RMC system- is a little more expensice, but sounds better. Don't forget, you need to plug piezos into a PA or keyboard amp..they sound terrible through a guitar amp.

Mincer, I plan on running the piezo side into my SWR Strawberry blonde with a Blonde-on-Blonde powered extension cab. This, along with my regular electric rig should give me pretty much any tone I need.

I have a Shadow piezo tunematic, and a Fishman Powerchip (buffer and preamp for the piezo), if you're interested. Both are brand new. I can send them to you for free, if you'd like. I originally bought them for a project but finally didn't need them. I've had them for sale for almost a year now, but no one ever wanted to buy them, and now I'd like them to be useful for someone, I'm not expecting to get any money for them.

If you'd like to have them, just tell me your name and address, and I'll post them to you next week. Or, at least I'll check how much the shipping would cost me.

I've used/am using the graphtec ghost system on a bunch of my guitars (a couple for forum members)
i think its a great system
you get graphite saddles to boot
