You may want to rename the title ... I had no clue what an F.f amp is.
F.f. stands for Franz Ferdinand... the band.
There was an article in GW magazine a few months ago where the dude said what kind of amps he used but I just looked in my room and I can't find the issue... maybe later.
I'm sure I remember reading something about one of them using a Feder Bassman ? Could be completely wrong, but it's a start...
Really? I remember in the article he said he generally didn't care what amps he used and that for recording most of the record he used something like a big old Silvertone or a Sovtek or something like that.
Just found this: In the end, nearly all of singer/guitarist Alex Kapranos and guitarist Nick McCarthy's parts were recorded using the former's battered old Selmer amp and bassist Robert Hardy's Fender Bassman 100.

This is exactly what Guitar World said as well. They also said that a 4x10 Bassman and a Fender 100w Twin reverb was used in section.

Aah, I must of glanced over it in one of the UK mags, can't remember which, but that'll be where I got the Bassman idea from...Originally Posted by nepalnt21thank you for all of your posts
