The Canadacaster (Fender MIJ 60's Tele Custom with a red maple leaf on it) is the neglected middle child of my collection, between good ol' Number One and my quot;new babyquot;, the lovely sunburst Strat - not to mention the Warmoth LP that's on the way. I barely play it anymore, which is really a shame because it's such a great guitar. Part of the problem is the pickup switch is broken, and only the bridge position works reliably. I'm also not satisfied with the neck pup's tone, and I wish it were a bit more versatile. Other than that, it's an outstanding instrument.

Hi guys, I don't want to spend for the boutique pickups would rather stick with Fender, Duncan, Dimarzio, Lace and similar. Thus far, the Virtual Vintage by Dimarzio and the new Duncan stacks are highly recommended. I like GREAT cleans from position 2 and 4 on a strat and alike having all usable pickup poisions. Anyone have any good suggestions? The Virtuals come recommended but require a 500k volume pot. Maybe I'll wait for the new Duncans. Man, this is a pain in the butt.

I just picked up a Roland Cube 30 as a practice amp. I like the amp but it's a little shrill at times an I was thinking about changing the 10quot; speaker for something a little warmer sounding like maybe a Celestion Vintage 10. Anybody replace the speaker in theirs?

i have installed hot rails for tele STHR-1b on my telecaster. should i also change resistors??
