Does anyone have any experience with these preamps - they get very good reviews and it sounded phenomenal in the store.... so I purchased one and while I still like it at home (havn't gigged with it yet), it seems to be thinner and shrill sounding (very powerful high end). The two modules I have for it are the Plexi and the Top Boost. Over all I like the sounds but I was wondering if anyone has experience taming the high end on these. Even with the high rolled off they tend to sound overwhelming at times. Am I doing something wrong? I am powering it with a VHT 2/50/2 head as opposed to Randalls head that they pair it with in the stores.
Anyway any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

hey i love jackson guitars but i have never owned them i played them at guitar center. i saw the rr5 on the web i think it a sweet looking guitar. like is it a good guitar? is this guitar worth the money? the only thing i dont like bout it i dont like the pickups. i would put in a jazz in the neck and an invader or dd in the bridge. mark

I want to make a tube amp. Mainly because it would be fun, but also to get an amp out of it. I was thinking of modding a little Bogner. Anyone have any experience with this stuff? I need to know where I can pick up some info. I have The Tube Amp Book, and RCA's manual on tubes already.

If anyone has any Blues junior clips that'd be great. Preferably a clean clip and a distorted clip. Thanks in advance
