I just stuck a Red Lace in the neck of my LTD M100, and it totally smokes! It's a great companion to the Dimebucker, with absolutely NO signal dropoff. Anybody who has one laying around, give it a shot!

The Artie Idea Bypass Box
Some ideas on it....
If you add some 1 meg resistors like shown on the FX in and FX out jacks,it'll stop the switch from popping on you....Mine lacks the switch and the LEDs are just there for show and aren't hooked up...I think you could use 1 Led if you added a small power supply and used Fulltone's 3DPT Stomp switch....

My New G12h30...only so-so
I just installed the G12H30 in a Peavey CLassic 30 and I'm not doing back flips. It sounds like there is blanket over the speaker in some settings. I don't know if it's the amp or the speaker just needs to break in.

cant think of a title for this thread
im lookin for a distortion pedal to really be like an extra amp channel, yet i wanna be able to tweak it so it can also be used for a soslo boost and stuff. ive got a boss bd-2 pedal that i think is lacking nuts. im not looking for an over the top pedal, but something that get a nice audioslave sound like in the chorus of the be yourself song yet also somethin that can get pretty heavy. i was considering the electro harmonix english muff'n or the seymour duncan tweak fuzz or any other pedal you guys can suggest.

Im back! I bought an axe! I put duncans in it! and...gt;??
... and it doesn't cut through the mix!! As some of you may know i play hamp;k triamp (recently retubed it) so it's probably not the amp's fault. What could be the reason? Height of the strings? Pickups set too low (take a look at the photo)? Pups are JBJr (B) and two SSL1's, i playied a gig with all knobs in the guitar all way up, and i set the bas on 7 o clock (so no bass at all) mid 4 o clock treb 4 o clock and i didn't cut through the mix when i'd changed the pup from JB (which was too trebly) to one of the ssl's.. Whats the problem?
ps. i got some awesome NOS Svetlana 6L6's for half free :P and i don't need em

Line 6 reliability
About a month ago I bought a Line 6 Spider 2 amp. I'm generally pretty happy with it - but I've been visiting the Line 6 User Forum, and a lot of people there are complaining of things like random program changes, volume dropping, and just plain shutting off - all in the middle of playing.

thinking about getting rid of mesa and getting a vox ac-30cc
hey guys its been a while since i've posted here. i've had my mesa rectoverb for a while now, and am starting to feel like its not really the right amp for me. i mostly use the clean channel and the lower gain settings, and am starting to feel that i need a different amp, possibly something like the new ac-30 custom classics. i love all the recordings i've heard using ac-30's. my style has changed greatly in the past year and i'm getting away from the more hard rock sound, more into nice cleans and lighter overdrive. so does anyone have any opinions on the new custom classics? or recommendations for another type of amp similar to it? or anyone want to talk me into keeping the mesa?

Guiar Workshop...desperate.
I was thinking of buying one of those guitar workshop things by digitech, and i was wondering if you could get a nice live sound out of them. I have played with the pod 2.0's and found them to sound very..fake i suppose would be the word. I will probably eventually get one of these just for the 8 track recorder, but for now im looking for something so i wont have to pack my pedals around everywhere for live gigs...but if it sounds fake like the pod...forget it. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
