Hi guys, I don't want to spend for the boutique pickups would rather stick with Fender, Duncan, Dimarzio, Lace and similar. Thus far, the Virtual Vintage by Dimarzio and the new Duncan stacks are highly recommended. I like GREAT cleans from position 2 and 4 on a strat and alike having all usable pickup poisions. Anyone have any good suggestions? The Virtuals come recommended but require a 500k volume pot. Maybe I'll wait for the new Duncans. Man, this is a pain in the butt.
I have an American Strat with the Delta system.
I like fat, smooth, get thru the mix modern strat sounds. Nothing too thin!
I would also much prefer noiseless.
Thanks!

sounds like APSs, maybe with a Twangbanger bridge ...
unless you're saying you really want noiseless?
If you want to satay noisless the Classic Stacks are good but the Stack Pluses are far better IMO...If I were you I'd wait on them to come out.

Yes, I am fine waiting for the stack plus set! Do you know if all positions are usable and full sounding? I thought about going to a bridge humbucker so I could have that fat bridge when I want but I would rather let a Strat be a Strat and just get the most full and fat set I could find expecially with a fat/warm bridge single. It is nice to have some extra power to rock when you need it though.
