isnt it a bad idea to connect speakers in series because the voltage distribution would be uneven? Somebody please clarify
it isn't a bad idea, it just depends on what you want the total impedence of the cabinet to be.check this out for further info: from : localhost/colomar.com/Shavano/4speaker.html

Well, in lieu of the of the fact it's been done for the last 30 yrs....I would venture to say that it works quite well, with no issues.....unless you're running differing impedance spkr's....
I'm really starting to think that I may need to start my own website...or see if I can get the admins to start a quot;techquot; section....there are many here who know quite a bit and can be helpful in these areas.
