Alright, I wrote a song, but it's not fitting my voice, so I figured I need to drop it down a step. I need to know what the new chords are.

Have anyone ever tried it? How do you think it would sound like?

all my drivers are updated and my computer recognizes it and the levels show on the patch mix dsp and the sound comes through my speakers and cakewalk notices the sound card cause it has it for my out put and it lets me put it in for input yet it cant detect a signal even if i arm it i shut off patch mix and my sound shuts off wats i dont know wat to do i would call the help line but i had surgery and cant speak

Hello im new here and this is my first post. I need some help deciding on which pickups to put in my epiphone les paul. I want that late 50's les paul tone. Like jimmy page, allman brothers, lynyrd skynyrd. I think im going to get a 59' in the neck and a pearly gates in the bridge. Will this give me that tone? Are those in the right positions? Also should i consider a jb in the bridge instead, or maybe a sh55 or cc?

With most ES335s being laminated tops, I was wondering if there were any other reasons, other than cost, that semi-hollow tops are laminated? Is it likely to cause more feedback? Was thinking about custom ordering a Heritage 535 with a solid front - should have more resonance shouldn't it? Thx.

Hey guys, does anyone know (or is anyone willing to measure) the exact thickness of a Gibson LP body? I have a project in mind and I'm trying to figure out if the body is cut to the proper thickness, or if I'll have to thin it out. Thanks.

Are you guys into the quot;analog effects are better than digitalquot; thing? Is it true? Can you really hear a difference? How can I tell if an effect pedal is analog or digital without dissecting it in the store?

I just bought a Pre-Rocktron Egnater TOL 100 hand built by Bruce online for $1300. Ill admit ive never played an Egnater before but I bought it anyways because for the price I got it at im sure I could make all of the money back on Ebay if i dont like it. Anyways Ive heard good things, but im curious what any of you guys know about these amps. Any info would be much appreciated. From the sound clips the overdrive sounded kinda like a gained up Marshall but thicker and darker overall.

How do you tech-heads do it? Can you do it by just looking inside it, and see how it's built and then you copy it, or do you got some detailed sheets with all the electronic stuff on? The reason why I'm wondering is because maybe my Marshall will die on me one day, who know's, and since they're out of production, I wouldn't be able to get a completely new one, unless you cloned it.
