does anyone have any stag mag clips?

I stumbled on this site looking for pickup replacements for my '87 squier strat. Google pointed me to quot;The Greatest Strat pickups EVER??quot; thread from last year. The surfer II's mentioned in the thread sound like they're exactly what I'm looking for in the neck and middle pickups (Clapton / Hendrix / SRV tone!). The popular bridge pickup from the thread was a Texas hot custom. However, I haven't made up my mind on the bridge pickup yet.

I ordered I Shure SM57 from piedog.com and I just recieved the package, the only thing is it's an SM58! The thing is they sell the 58 for amp;#163;10 more but they only charged me for the 57. Should I keep the SM58 or return it and get them to send me the proper one?

Was Billy dialing in through Fender's on quot;ZZ Top's First Albumquot;?

I've been on a Lynch kick - listening to Back for the Attack, and trying to play in his vein a little bit by learning some tricks from his website. Cool stuff. Him and Scholnick (during the Testament days) are high on my list right now. OK, they've always been up there. I think it's the diminished thing they both use. Switch up the 5th and 7th on the normal minor scale and BAM, you got yourself a party.

These have to be some of the sweetest looking pedalboards I have ever seen. I am thinking of ordering a tweed one to match my Blues Junior. I met this guy when he responded to a want ad of mine on Harmony Central. Any of you guys think you'd be interested? Just curious!!

My guitar as a horrible neck its one of the worst iv ever seen (not broken but its bad) I dont have moeny for another neck and i just found out that it has a truff rod. So I have zero expirence and want to know if it is possible for me to ajust the neck or would i be better off payin for someone who knows what there doin to do it?

would I get fat and saturated distortion tones if I plug mt-2 in front of my fender twin reverb with the help of boost pedals(OD-1,TS808)?
I use the clean channel with power tubes at full volume with preamp volume down...

If you own or have owned one some opinions please.

I would prefer a nickel/chrome covered one in any brand (no stock cheapo pups).

I just tried wiring it all by myself, but when I turned it on it had a totally uncontrollable buzz... Here's the configuration:

lol, no it's not mildew, i think it started life as a trans green top that sat in a music store window a bit too long and faded into this...which odly enough i think i like lol. either it faded or there is a guy with some strange taste working the paint booth at gibson. anyway, thought you guys may get a kick out of this...

Hi all

trying to make slight adjustment to the tuning on my OFR. All strings are a little flat. I've never been a fan of tuning FR's, any tips to make it easier? I'm just trying to tune up while the nut is still locked down.
