I just became the owner of one of the most versatle amps I have EVER played!I own a Fender Deville,Carvin Legacy,Crate BV 120,Peavey 5150 combo,Peavey Classic 50 410,and a THD Univalve, but after giving up hope that there could ever be any ONE amp out there that could cover all of my wants and needs without building my own, here comes an amp from a company that I would NEVER,EVER IN A BILLION YEARS would have imagined could produce!!

Bridge Pickup Recommendation for LP Std
I'm looking for a pickup to replace my the SH-14 Custom in the bridge of my LP Std. I love the pickup, but I'm looking for something that will give me a little more distortion (without sacrificing the cleans). I don't care for the JB as the highs are too much.

Toggle switch mounting Q for Strat
I have a wiring plan that I may try, but it will require 3 toggles. I would like to use 3 conventional mini toggle switches through the pickguard. I could use push-pull pots if I have to, but I would just prefer to have the 3 switches.

Rio BBQ. Does anyone find it to have a dull, rounded gain?
I just moved my band into a different rehearsal space so my sense of tone has no reference now as opposed to the room I was in before. I went through alot of tweaking and now just after moving into another room (all masonry block) I started using the BBQ. I dont know if its the room or the pickup but it seems to sound great on my Line 6 POD but when I get it to rehearsal it sounds rounded and dull. Even my tb-6 sounds a little duller in the room as opposed to the other well soundproofed room. I am dumbfounded.Does anyone else find the BBQ to be lacking in gain or have a dullness? I know its darker than Duncans and that is why I am using a 1 meg pot now. It was darker witht the 500k. Any input????????

What can I buy for 500/600 euros (superstrat or shredder)
No I don't shred, nor do I play much solos anyway, but I'm hopelessly stuck in the 80s and I love Strats with humbuckers, or neck through stratoid shapes I'm spending part of my money into some of the Stew Mac tools for my future tech shop (thinking about 10 years ahead but eh I gotta start early) and the rest may go to another guitar. The purpose of it is to get a guitar that's easily modeable, very playable (compound radius for low action preferable). Bridge doesn't matter, nor do the pickups to be honest (replaceable). It'd need to have decent quality woods (any is ok. I'm used to basswood and I love it so I could do with something different to try it out). It can be second hand (eh for that price it most likely will be). Bolt on, set or neck through don't matter as long as the sustain is decent. I'll set it all up myself (most likely new nut and maybe fretwork if I know how by then) so factory set up doesn't matter as much either. In fact not much matters but eh, I hope you get a decent picture
Right now I'm just opening my mind to suggestions. I have a truckload of ideas but I'm wondering what you guys can think that I didn't know about. It'd be to play anything from blues to very high gain stuff but again that'll depend on the pickups amps (seperate problem).

WTT: Grover Mini Locking Tuners
I have a chrome set of these ( from : localhost/that'd I'd like to trade for a set of black tuners, any brand. I don't care if they're locking, I'd just like some that work well. I barely used them; they were on a Kramer I made from parts but I took it apart after a week and sold the parts. They were in use for about 20 minutes.

What amp do I want?
I'm slowly amassing funds to buy an upgraded amp from my broken Fender SS and Marshall SS amps. Though I wouldn't rule out a modeller, I do recognize that I like the sound of a good tube amp more. The main sounds I am looking for are fat (but not flubby) medium to high gain rhythm tones, with the ability to cut when necessary for a lead. A clean channel would be nice too. It doesn't need to be sparkly like a twin or anything, but usable. I've played a couple of the new Vox CC AC30 amps (a 1x12 and a 2x12) and I think this is a phenomenal base sound. Unfortunately, I want quite a bit more gain and flexibility on tap than it can provide. Recorded tones I am after are anything done by Porcupine Tree (Bad Cat Hot Cat 30) and a lot of A Perfect Circle's stuff (Marshalls, VHTs and Rectos).
What amp do you think I would like, keeping price in mind? My first inclination is to go for a 2 or 3 channel amp, but lately on my GT-6 I've just been using a Matchless model set for medium gain with a booster for more gain and an EQ (and volume knob) for a gain cut.
