the duncan distortion was barely used..was in my guitar for about a week and decided that it wasn't for me. so that's practically brand new...this is just the regular version, NOT a trembucker

I know that different scale lengths will give different tensions to the strings (about a gauge I hear,) but which is which? For instance, if I have a set of 10's on an LP would that feel like 11's or 9's on a strat?May be lame, but I still wanna know

I have a 1964 Melody Maker that needs to have the ferts replaced. Any recommendations of someone in the Central Texas area that would be able to do this? If the forum brothers know someone outside that area, I might be willing to ship, but that makes me nervous, to say the least.Thanks

Could the 89 be a nice bridge pup for a alder jackson. I'm looking for metal and i really want an aggresive active tone. I'm really curious about EMG's, but they only sell 89's at my shop. So would it have alot of harmonics etc. METAL STYLE not versatile. My other guitar is versatile. OOO and just so you know i have an invader in the bridge now so if you think i should stick with invader just tell me. It's just I really love pinchs etc. in my solos and stuff and the invader isnt giving me those nice harmonics unless i turn it up real loud, so i want to expeiriment and my mind is young so tell me!

In my Tokai Love Rock I always felt the 59N was just a bit too woofy up there.I just finished putting the PGN in there and I haven't even played the guitar yet,as I'm on a much needed back break!

Looking for a nice new, or used, tube amp in the near future. I am getting my sweet a$$ Gauge guitar soon and want some new hardware to go along with it. I have been looking at the Mesa lonestars, Voxs, and Marshalls, but really don't know if these are exactly what I want. What would you guys suggest in a 2 X 12 combo? Keep in mind that I play a little of everything, so it will have to have a nice clean sound, but be able to get dirty when needed. Thanks for the help in advance.

White Tremspaced JB, lots of lead, will trade for a 59b or CC black regular spaced or $45! Also still have a brand new Bad Monkey with box $25!

Any of you guys feel overwhelmed at times about the huge variety of options for pickups? Between SD and Dimarzio there are 50 humbuckers to think about! Throw in the rest of the companies and it is dizzying at best!! I need to have ever pickup on earth sitting here with an easy drop in and yank out system so I can try them alllll!!!

i have a chambered les paul. I play classic rock, phish ect. I am planning on putting either a pg neck with either a custom, a 59, or jazz bridge. Which bridge is best in your opinion? also should i use 250k or 500k pots with these

A lot of members here have lots of experience with boutique pedals. Whilst its discussed a fair bit, usually its only just about a specific effect (delay, overdrive, etc.)... here we need the best of the best, of all kinds of effects.
