Hi,
I have created a database with a table of transactions by costcodes, i then
have a query that links supplier name for the suppler code in the transaction
table.
From the query i have two queries that return the transactions for 2
different costcodes.
I then have the results of these queries placed in two workbooks, using the
Data gt; Import External Data gt; Importa Data feature. I then set the data to
refresh on opening of workbook.
All works well except when you open the two workbooks together, the data in
the first one that gets opened refreshes but I get this following error for
the second one.
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The text file specification
'Transactions_0607 Link Specification1' does not exist. You can not import,
export, or link using the specification
The same happens if i put the queries on the one workbook.
I have other queries that are similiar that work fine, the only difference
between this one is that it links the supplier name. I've tried doing it
without the middle query and get the same error. It seems to be some sort of
sharing error.
Can anyone shed any light on what this means?
