I'm in the process of building a Tele Style guitar using Black Walnut for the body and possibly the Warmouth V walnut/rosewood neck. I used to own a '78 Fender Custom Tele, which i really liked the sound of, I have also tried a few thinlines which have humbuckers at the neck and bridge, sweet sound.
I don't know the pups model numbers and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Although the sound is the most important, I would really like cream colored, or off white.

Well it seems like, whenever I read a thread about help with improv, you guys just say quot;Just mess around with the scale until you find something goodquot; (or was this in another forum?)
Well it's hard for me to make anything out of the scales! My Teacher wrote down the whole G Major White Note Scale and i can't seem to get anything good out of it. It sucks especially when someone tells me to jam along with them and I make crap.

I'm not much of a Strat person anymore having ventured into heavier music but a few guitarists keep me coming back to my old strat... more famous players like Hendrix and Gilmour obviously, but more importantly Ritchie Blackmore and Uli John Roth. Having the Scorpions quot;Tokyo Tapesquot;, I was blown away by Roth's tone and playing. It didn't seem like a typical Strat - less shrill and more open. Is anyone familiar with Uli's tone and his playing?

Alright...I feel bad about this. If the next set of pickups I try in the RR don't work out, I think I might be sell and pick up an SL2H-MAH, or a Schecter C-1FR and a nice 7 string.

This is my first post to the forum. I searched for this, but did not find my specific answer. I have never wired a guitar before, so this is somewhat new to me. I have a Trembucker (TB-59) and 2 Strat Cool Rails that I am installing in a Soloist style body.

Just pulled the pickups out of a guitar I just bought and one is a SD, all black, no print on top, one coil with screw adjustable poles, the other coil non adjustable. A sticker on the back has ' CCL ' on it. It has a 4 conducter wire, but I can't tell if it's original. It reads 14.75 k. If anyone could clue me in as to what model this is, I'd greatly appreciate it.
